Scamp: Mom, I want to go outside.
Me: Ok.
Scamp: I want to play with SoccerDude and DrummerBoy.
Me: Are they outside now? Remember, SoccerDude has practice today.
Scamp: Ok. I want to go play with DrummerBoy so I can shoot him.
(he’s brandishing a nerf gun)
