Is it wrong when…???
June 12, 2006
- You wear a black suit to a funeral, but a red camisole top underneath.
- You (accidentally!) wear two similar, yet different, diamond earrings with said outfit.
- You help your mother-in-law enjoy her Sunday with a batch of pomegranate martinis.
- You watch the season (sort-of) ending of The Sopranos a week after it first aired.
- You think that Jeremy Piven in India is a cute Jeremy Piven.
- You think your husband is sexy, even when he’s in pain. (Sorry, sweetie!)
- You don’t take communion at a church service, and smile when your entire pew doesn’t either.
- You go get a manicure (fill) the day before the funeral, because you know you’ll see people you haven’t seen in a very long time, and you want to look your best.
- You spend a rainy Sunday watching World Cup Soccer and piping it through the surround sound on the HDTV so it feels like you are there.
- In between soccer matches, you watch saved episodes of Footballers Wives or previously taped games to pass the time.
- You realize you are addicted to World Cup Soccer, but don’t really care.
feel free to add your own!

Well, as an attendant at the same funeral, I must say you looked stunning! I did notice the earring thing, but I liked both pair and would have had trouble deciding which ones to wear so I thought it looked cool. over half of the attendants at the funeral didn’t take communion, and if I may quote my son when he was four and took his first communion, “Church was fun but the snack tasted yucky”. As for the pomtini’s, they are perfect for any occasion! As for the soccer thing, cute atletic guys are worth getting addicted to!
So, if you ask me, I think you are wonderful and shouldn’t give a hoo ha what anyone else thinks!
Love you, La

Is it wrong when you dress more fashionably and are more hip than your 12 yr old daughter? She often says she should be the mom and I should be the teenager. (not in matters of discipline, just because, at least at this point, she still thinks I am way cool. Give her time, she will be hating me and thinking I am so very LAME).
