patentprincess - it's amazing what happens when a child climbs up on one of those things; a cat will stake a claim where they might not have previously.

kailani - I've noticed boys climb things more than girls do. I have those two, and between the two of 'em, they've climbed many things. I get nervous when they are in trees, that cat condo I can handle. It's surprisingly sturdy, unlike some of the trees they have tried to climb...

carmen - yes, that was the funniest part of it all, the "race to the top". Guess we all know who won!

lynn - it isn't my first choice, but for photo posterity it sure worked nicely!

susan - this was also our first trip to the Keys, and I have lived in FL off and on (mostly on) since 1974; some of that time in south Florida. This is at a little roadside dock just over the bridge. The locals sent us there and the fish are HUGE. What Spiff is holding is just what we FED them.

the_yecart - no, I did however put that photo plus several others we took on that trip to Boston into a keepsake book I made at Snapfish.com for Spiff. I probably should do that though, it is one of my favorites.

Thanks again for liking my photos and my photography skills. I have to give credit where it is due; my father-in-law is my inspiration, and his photos are amazing. Maybe one day he'll show them to the world.

Ya'all rock! I'll stop by each one of your TT's in the next few days, it's a big weekend for us at cada de crazedmommy.

Love the pics!! I have lived in Florida all my life but have never been to Islamorada. My family has spent time there, though. And by the way, we have the same kitchen table!!

These are awesome pictures. You captured your boys beautifully. I love the candid photos too. They capture more of the subjects personality then staged photos do. Great job!

Your kids are beautiful! I love taking pictures of my son. Sounds like you have a pretty good big brother watching out for his little brother a lot.

I just LOVE photos, and these are all just terrific. Especially love those last two, breatakingly beautiful! You are a wonderful photographer and your subject matter is pretty darn cute too!

LOL! How can the cat tolerate sharing its cat tree with a kid?!?

I love the photo of the cranberry pond. It reminds me of the Fox River in Wisconsin, with the trees and everything.
