You can have Maggie - Just kidding! It will help the boys adjust. When they first come into contact with a dog the dog is excited and all sniffy and waggy. Which can send the boys into sensory overload. Once they see the dog going through his gammit of doggy behavior (ie sleeping 22 hours a day), it may help the anxiety. Maybe you could go visit someone who had dogs and slowly get them used to them if it were me I would just ask they keep the dogs put up or outside especially if it is the kind of dog that just jumps up on kids.
