Taking A Time Out
November 27, 2006
Last night should have been a regular Sunday night, a night where if you visited my home you would find people in various states of undress, or still in their pajamas.
The man of the house would be planted on the sofa, in front of the TV, watching football. He’d prefer it if his team was playing, but any football game will do in a pinch.
The kids would be playing some sort of video game system, possibly the GameBoy or the Game Cube – or both simultaneously. Hey, at least they know how to multitask. That will come in handy as they write their blog and work at their desks as grown ups. Not that I would know anything about that.
What about me, you ask? Aww, how sweet. They have me chained in the laundry room making sure they all don’t go off to work and school naked. That is how I usually spend my Sundays.
This Sunday was different.
This Sunday we went here:

It was definitely worth it to not make it a regular old Sunday. Thanks, Nan.
