THEY ARE BACK! The Police are BACK!

February 13, 2007

Did you watch the Grammys last night? Sting, Stewart and Andy opened the show and said the most amazing words I have ever heard (next to the Hubby saying I do):

“Ladies and gentlemen, we are The Police… and we’re back!”

I don’t remember much else about the show after that. I’m told it was good though, the performance of Roxanne kicked a$$, and The Dixie Chicks got the vindication they so richly deserve.

So, here’s my current thought: The Police have announced a tour date ON MY BIRTHDAY in New Orleans. I think this is serendipitous, and the powers that be are sending me a cosmic message of “THOU SHALT GO” or something like that. (More like “THOU HAD BETTER GO OR I’LL KICK YOUR BUTT”). I shouldn’t disappoint them, don’t you think? I should go and I should take The Hubby. We should have a wonderful, kid-free time.

I SHOULD be there. I mean, they planned it just for me, didn’t they?

Didn’t they?

In the meantime, keep up on all thing Police and find out when they are coming to your town by clicking here.

My mom was just telling me about this and she said that in our town, tickets are going on ebay for $1300 on the floor. (start saving your pennies.)
