Scamp: (flapping his arm up and down vigorously) Mom, I need help.
Me: What’s wrong? (notices hes putting his hand in his armpit) Are you trying to arm fart?
Scamp: Yes. Can you teach me?
Me: Nope. Not my department. Let’s go ask Dad. He’ll know.

I always say that they taught the boys how to make armpit farts in the 6th grade right after sex ed classes. It’s the only explanation I have for how boys learned this talent that girls never got.

Like everything else, I suppose it starts earlier now. I have a 7th grader teaching the 5 year old how to do this, in a monkey-see, monkey do kind of way.

I am glad that I have 4 nieces and we don’t have to do arm farts:o) Of course my brother may find a way to teach them it later on!!!
