What have I been doing since February?
Well, some of what was on my to-do list, but mostly not. I was reassigned to a full time job at my school – and I love it. It’s what I did last year, but for the younger ones. I’m exhausted most days, and my 17 year-old niece has come to live with us. She? Is. Awesome. We are having a blast, and I am embracing my inner hip-hop diva.
Today, though, I took Scamp to his very first T Ball practice. and he LOVED it. Afterwards we went to a local pizza joint, where both boys made their own pizzas and played video games, old school style. (Sonic, anyone?)

I hope your niece is there for good reasons. And if her life is a bit tough right now, she is lucky to have landed with you. Good luck with the expanded job responsibilities.

I tend to take too many photos too, but mine don’t turn out as well! I usually end up deleting several.
Enjoy your niece. 17 is a special age — not without its challenges, but enjoyable nevertheless.

So cute!
My son started teeball, but then the tee broke, so the coach taught them how to hit a pitch. So, it ended up being a bit more accelerated than I anticipated, but he’s LOVIN’ it!
