Tennessee Traveling – Part One
March 31, 2008
My husband got me up at 5:30 am Saturday morning.
He lived….but barely.
We hit the road by 6am. Light traffic all the way up until we got to Georgia. Then? We hit several of those bottlenecks – you know, the traffic jams that appear out of nowhere, and when you get to the place where you think it was caused there is nothing there? We had a few of those.
Dear Georgia, please don’t fix every inch of your roads at the same time. It makes traveling through your fair state a might tricky. Thanks! Love, Shash
We also had a lot of these:
Apparently whomever works for this company worked at one time for South of the Border
Atlanta was not as bad as we thought it would be, the traffic was minimal and we breezed through. The weather was wonky; it would rain, then stop, then rain again. Weird.
The scenery was beautiful, and we made it to Nashville in 10 and a half hours. We are here, and we are enjoying ourselves.
The reason for our trip is to see family we don’t get to see very often; and on person in particular. The video below is an exchange between to two people we needed to bring together, if only to be able to record moments like this:

My first video from my camera! I’m so proud!
This? Is our Best. Trip. Ever.

Part two will have even more! amazing! photos! Also, I’ll share with you what Spiff told his uncle in the frozen foods section of Kroger that made three women die laughing. Stay tuned!
