Time to Accept Certain Realities

Dear Intarwebz,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this to tell you that I will not be attending BlogHer this year. I really want to go…I do because this person is speaking and this person, and this person and this person and that person, you know, the one I said LAST YEAR SHOULD HAVE HAD HER OWN BREAKOUT SESSION – she is that cool and has many important things to say?!?
I cannot go. I’m sorry. The reasons are too numerous to mention.
So if Sarah is giving away those beer bottle opener keychains again, and Erin is handing out “Suck it!” pins, can someone PLEASE get me one of each? My keychain broke, and I could use a good laugh with one of those pins.

I know, I can’t go either. I am so disappointed. You can attend in Second Life for free though. I will at least get to do that.

TLC: Very true, and I probably will, but there is definitely something to be said about being there….
cheekysweetie: budget is definitely an issue here too… as well as other things. Still, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one!
Mocha: CRAP!!!! I’ve been saying it for days now. I REALLY wanted to see you again – especially speaking!!!! I’m just so darn proud of you; and I wish I could be there.

I know you really wanted to go, so I’m sorry you can’t. But thank the heavens above that you didn’t beg for money because I would have gone ballistic on you. Did you see now the Momocrats are begging for money to go to the Democratic convention… DO NOT get me started…
OTOH, I just had to borrow money from my daughter’s friend to get some gas. So the money thing, I’m SO THERE with you.
Maybe you can come, oh, say to Boston for a visit instead? Heh.
