Only in my house would you find a mom slaving over a stove making homemade popcorn lovingly preparing it for her sons, turning and turning the wheel so all the kernels will pop…
…when son #1 walks in, tastes the popcorn, now hot and buttered in the popcorn bowl and says:
“That popcorn is too bland, Mom. Can I make some microwave popcorn?”
Sigh.
(The mom said yes, by the way.)

Sheesh. That would totally happen here, too, I think. I feel your pain. I hope you ate all the GOOD popcorn yourself!

I LOVE real popcorn! But I think this is kind of like a ‘what you’re used to’ thing. I totally prefer Campbells Tomato & Rice soup over homemade. With a grilled cheese, of course. Weird – I know.

I love real popcorn but my kids will only eat it if we’re out of the microwave stuff.

This is such a good story..How many times have we as moms or grams done what we thought was a great job to find out it wasn’t by our loving children….
However, we shall go on…loving and sometimes not making the right stuff…it’s our job..
