Business, greater than another occupation, is a continual coping with the longer term; it is just a continual calculation, an instinctive exercise in foresight.
Time is the scarcest resource and unless it's managed hardly anything else could be managed.

Good luck! When I was in college, I had a classmate who has 33 years old with three kids. It never got in the way with her schooling, and we are all proud of her for accomplishing so many things. I wish you all the best.

Good luck tonight.

I vote for comfort, but then I am an old broad who wears flats and support panty hose.

I would guess that you will also be able to get help at school if your son isn't able.

I can provide help via email or phone - so just drop me a note.

First of all, there is nothing pathetic about going back to school and maybe needing some help from anyone with classwork. If anything, it would give your son confidence that he can handle college level materials.

Second, this is college not high school. No one cares what you look like carrying your books to class anymore. It's a great thing! Carry them in a wagon if you want and no one will care. Just do whatever is most comfortable and practical for you.

Third, congrats on taking on the challenge. My dad went back to school and even lived in a dorm for the final semester to earn his degree and he was at least 10 years older than you are right now. Not only did I help him with some of his work while I was still in high school as well, but we even had the same Spanish teacher!

Good Luck!

Use a backpack. I do, and I'm not much younger than you. Of course, I have my laptop in it too, so there's that.

If ou are going to night class, chances are most of your classmates are also professional adults. I can tell you from experience, no one really cares. Some people do the totes, some backpacks, some neither and just carry their books.

Personally, I saw an AWESOME bag a Marshalls a couple weeks ago that was stylish but could hold a laptop and books. It was like $15. you could always go that route too!

Good luck tonight and enjoy! I know you will do AWESOME!

I used a backpack with wheels. So many students had them that I fit right in! They have collapsible handles so you can carry them on your back too.

I think you should do the backpack because it distributes the weight more evenly. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks!
